The Haifa Refinery "Meidan Project", 2012, installation of passive fire proofing on pipe racks and equipment skirts by applying Monokote Z-146PC.
The works included:
- Supplying fire proofing material and applying it by spraying, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Project support, writing professional opinion reports and execution of the quality control process by W.R.GRACE representatives.
- Supply and construction of scaffoldings by the Scaffolding Department of the Group.
Work scope included fire proofing thousands of meters of steel profiles and hundreds of square meters of equipment skirts.
Paz Refinery Ashdod Project, Paza Ashdod 2012: Implementation of passive fire proofing on pipe racks and equipment skirts in various manufacturing facilities by applying Monokote Z-146PC.
The works included:
- Supplying fire proofing material and applying it by spraying, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Project support, writing professional opinion reports and execution of the quality control process by W.R.GRACE representatives.
- Supply and construction of scaffolding by the Scaffolding Department of the Group.
Work scope included fire proofing thousands of meters of steel profiles and hundreds of square meters of equipment skirts.
The project was characterized by extremely short deadlines and working conditions in an "active plant", which is particularly difficult and problematic.
Establishing and maintaining production facilities at the Haifa Refineries, Carmel Olefins, Gadiv, Dead Sea Works, IEC Power stations "Orot Rabin" in Hadera, "Rotenberg" in Ashkelon, combined recycling facilities "Hagit", " Zafit".
Construction and maintenance of scaffoldings in the Haifa and Ashdod Refineries, Intel fabrication facilities, IEC power plants.
Construction of Intel’s FAB28 facility project:
The project included execution of detailed planning, production and installation of evaporation of exhaust gases ducts, ducting insulation according to specific insulation specifications, design for production, of Teflon coated, stainless steel ducts, made by VIRON U.S. and its installation in the project, planning production of ducting made of coated FRP ducts, produced by ATS U.S and its installation in the project.
Unique project characteristics were required, particularly high engineering and planning capabilities, work and installation under special conditions which included work in a "clean room" under "live plant" conditions, with very short schedules, very high requirements for safety, quality and control.
Ducting project for the new paper machine "Machine 8" at the Hadera Paper Mills:
The work included designing, producing and installing air ducts made of stainless steel and galvanized steel with thicknesses up to 2 mm for transferring treated air with special characteristics such as: High humidity, high air flow velocity and high temperature. The work included manufacturing equipment according to specific parameters such as air moistening, filter housings and so forth. The work included a unique thermal insulation specification, including metal cladding for saving energy. The project was performed by the ducting department, the insulation and scaffolding departments of the Group.
The new convention center project:
“Spiro” ducting, 1400 mm diameter in the steel constructed ceiling of the convention center main hall. Unique characteristics of the project were, work execution at high elevations with supply of painted products with the highest standard of finishing.
Nilit textile factory project
The project included design, production and installation of large cross sectioned galvanized steel ducts, installed in "live working plant" conditions. The project was under the responsibility of the Ducting and Scaffolding Departments.
